About me

My name is Julia and I love working with words. I have extensive experience as an academic, teacher, writer and editor. I founded Impact Editing in 2021, after completing my Graduate Certificate in Professional Editing and Electronic Publishing at Macquarie University.

My original degree was in modern languages, specialising in German. My PhD was in German literature, and when I am not reading and writing, I enjoy spending time outdoors in the bush or in my garden.​
